RTL News: the book on national television

Prime time, the daily news on RTL News at 7:30 PM. It was a strange thing to see myself and my parents, who have passed away over twenty-four years ago, on a big screen. Knowing that hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of households would see those images. It was a naked moment. But is was a good moment as well. RTL News interviewed me on August 6th, eight months after the publication of my book. The Central Bureau of Statistics had finally released figures about orphans, after years of asking. And I am glad they did. The producer of RTL remembered my story and book, and decided to call me for a video interview.
